2 Timothy 2:8-11 King James Version (KJV)
8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
9 Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.
10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:
2 Timothy 2:8-11
ECB 8 Remember that Yah Shua Messiah of the sperma of David was raised from the dead according to my evangelism: 9 wherein I endure hardship as an evil worker - to bonds; but the word of Elohim is not bound. 10 So I endure all for sake of the select, so that they also obtain the salvation in Messiah Yah Shua with eternal glory. 11 Trustworthy the word: For if we co-die, we also co-live;
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
8 We should always keep Jesus on our minds and try to please Him. Jesus defeating death meant He died for sin but defeated it so thru Him we are no longer bound to sin, Him being a son of David means that He is meant to be king., we all should share the good news about Jesus.
9 Paul was in prison because of preaching the gospel. Paul knew that God’s word was still going to spread and that the church would still grow and was encouraging those that would do it.
10 Paul knew that he was in prison and wasn’t willing to give up Christ because he knew being in prison with Christ was better then being in the world without Christ. Christ knew that while in this life he was in prison but thru Christ he would be in glory one day.
11 We die to sin and live by the Spirit, this shows that we have Him the fact that we live for Him rather then self, and dying to sin means we have glory thru life for Him.
