2 Timothy 2:3-7 King James Version (KJV)
3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

ECB 3 So endure hardship as a good warrior of Yah Shua Messiah. 4 No one who wars entangles himself with the transactions of existence; so as to please him who enlisted him. 5 And whenever anyone contends for masteries he still is not wreathed unless he contends torahically. 6 The cultivator must labor ere he partake the fruits. 7 Comprehend what I word; so that indeed, Adonay gives you comprehension in all.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
3 As Christians we face suffering from this world to fight our own flesh has its own level of suffering that we all as Christians face. As Christians this world will hate us and the more we serve Him and more we look like Him that the world will hate us.
4 We are to focus on what God has for us not to focus on other things that mean we fight what we want. We are to not live for self but for us.
5 To cheat meant someone was disqualified we can not cheat the Lord. We are to go for the prize we are not to serve for the prize but serve Him out of love until which reach the end glory which is our prize.
6 What are to work hard and bear fruit for Him, we should be letting Him work thru us so that fruit is bore and the faith grows and by us being willing to be used He lets us be apart of it.
7 The Lord wants us to have an understanding of some things but wants us to ask for the understanding to be given it. Sometimes times the Lord wont give us understanding but simply want us to trust Him.
