2 Timothy 1:15-18 King James Version (KJV)
15 This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.
16 The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:
17 But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.
18 The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.
2 Timothy 1:15-18
ECB 15 Know this: that all in Asia turned from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. 16 Adonay give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus; for he often refreshed me and shamed not of my fetter: 17But, being in Rome, he sought me out very diligently and found me. 18Adonay give him to find mercy from Yah Veh in that day: and as much as he ministered to me at Ephesus, you know much better.

15 To be left alone is a sad thing Paul was all alone but he did have people praying for him and God was with him, when we think we are alone we got to remember we always have the Lord with us and most of the time are friends are not that far away.
16 To help a prisoner in those times meant more then these times to help one could mean you would be an enemy to Rome. Paul is thanking those who have been there for him, often times if we feel alone or like everyone has left us the way to feel better is to think of those that had been there for us and it often times cheers us up.
17 Onesiphorus seeked out Paul to help him, this showed that he wanted truly to help Paul and was someone Paul could count on, often times we wait on people to ask for help before we help them but as Christian should not we look for people who the Lord can use us to help?
18 Onesiphorus may very well have had to answer for helping Paul and this is what Paul may be referring to, we may have to answer to men for us serving the Lord but we are to serve Him regardless of what men may say we should not worry about it but stay focused on Him.
