2 Timothy 4:6-8 King James Version (KJV)
6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:6-8 Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time for my departure is close. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 There is reserved for me in the future the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me, but to all those who have loved His appearing.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
6 Paul was about to die, this would the last letter he wrote. Paul knew his time was coming to an end but instead of fearing his death, he wanted to make sure the gospel kept going,
7 Can this be said about how we are? We need to be like this. We need to strive for the best Jesus wants us to do.
8 This is right standing before the Lord. This is given because of grace found thru Jesus. Paul is saying that he is ready to stand before the Lord. We should be ready to because we don’t know when our time will be.
